Check out this project and buy a coloring book for yourself and maybe one for someone else too, only $10 each! 100% of the sales of the Joey Yang drawings and coloring books benefit the International Institute of the Bay Area, a non-profit that provides high-quality, low-cost immigration legal services to the Bay Area community!
Have fun coloring your own badly drawn Donald Trump page, whether you buy the coloring book or not. Post it in the impromptu gallery on the Transmission Gallery Stairway wall.
In this project Yang addresses the, sometimes challenging, ideas and ideals that helped forge America through art and humor, specifically voicing concerns about the proliferation of hate speech and its impact on immigration and the values of our nation. He calls on us all to take part in the action by registering to vote (and voting!) and also pledging to speak out against hateful speech.
