Why enter Pint Size 3?
This is our third national call for entries for small scale artworks in any medium. Last time we showed work by well over a hundred artists with even more space allotted this year to Pint Size 3!

Pint Size is so much fun! Art fans, collectors and gallery visitors absolutely enjoy the wide ranging art strategies and subject matter of the art on view in Pint Size. From minimalism to maximalism, abstraction to narrative art to figuration, it's a delight to experience the complexity, skill, and amazing creativity on display and you can be part of it. Whether considering deeply intense and serious artworks or lighting up with lively humor,  there's a lot to see and a lot to talk about with your colleagues, friends and family,

Here's your opportunity to introduce your work to a whole new audience:  Pint Size 3 is well attended! Artists, collectors, curators, critics, writers and possibly even someone who will buy their very first piece of art will see your work.  Gallery guests include curators, artists and bay area gallerists with an occasional museum professional in the mix. They might just be looking for an artist for another project or find a sweet piece to enjoy for themselves, which brings us to:

Sales! Of course, we can't guarantee it but a lot of work has sold from our past Pint Size exhibitions. The small scale virtually guarantees that your work will fit into someone's life, home or office. Give them a chance to discover it!

Community and Involvement: Putting yourself and your artwork out there is a great way to be part of a community and get involved in something meaningful and hopeful and Pint Size is a great way to do it. If your artwork is accepted, shipping is manageable! If you're in the San Francisco Bay Area, the opening is lively and joyful. Whether or not you can make it to the opening, you might find yourself with new Instagram or Facebook fans, broadening your connections.  Or, you might check out some of the other artists yourself, finding inspiration and appreciation for their work too!

New to submitting artwork to calls for entry? This is a good time to give it a shot.
If you're not familiar with callforentry.org, take a look at their website. You can register as an artist for free and then look for other calls for entry that suit your work in addition to Pint Size. Don't wait till the very last minute before the deadline to get started entering your artwork.  Give yourself some time to set up an account and upload images.  Also please read the full prospectus and make note of the rules before applying to any call for entry, including Pint Size 3.
