Transmission Gallery San Francisco is pleased to present PINT SIZE, small-scale assemblage and found object sculpture and wall mounted assemblage artworks by artists from California to Texas to New York, selected through a national call for entries. Materials run the gamut from QR coded plex to fiber to plaster and a myriad of found objects.
The exhibition includes both 2 and 3D diminutive treasures, 7 inches wide x 7 inches deep x 8 inches high or smaller for 3D and 7 inches by 7 inches for the 2D work. Art strategies range from minimalism to maximalism and abstraction to figuration all incorporating found objects or materials. Pristine, exquisite, thoughtful, poignant and humorous, come out to see the work in PINT SIZE, concurrent with Prelude for Mini Beasts, a solo exhibition of mixed media work by Ruth Santee.
